This Special Edition captivates with its industrial design and is inspired by the Shinkansen Station in Kanazawa, Japan. This is where old meets new and this connection not only makes the station special but the whole area. The Cloudaway Kanazawa also combines these elements. The upper consists of a light but robust mesh in a metallic look. This mesh material consists of recycled materials.

The industrial design is further enhanced by the metallic look. This metallic splash guard also shows the connection to nature and outdoor adventure. The shape imitates the silhouette of mountains, which serve as inspiration here. In doing so, the silhouette not only looks beautiful but also provides additional support and protection. In addition, the shape is reminiscent of the shoe’s Swiss roots.

ONs outsole consists of a closed midsole channel, so no small stones can get stuck. The rubber tread, like the upper, is partly made of recycled material. The 3D rubber profile has another feature in-store. A 3D map of Engadin, the home of ON, is imprinted on the sole. In turn, the color itself is reminiscent of the wooden gate of Kanazawa Station.
