Paying tribute to the great 2000s, the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 are set to release in two out-of-this-world colorways. Following the successful release of the Stüssy collaboration, Nike grabbed their time-machine and started to look through its archives, hence this most anticipated release.
Made specifically for marathon runners, they were originally released in 2003 for the Japanese market. For obvious reasons, they were meant to stick around. Their return is awaited by many, from your true OG runner to the younger hypebeast generation.
Nodding to its big brother, the Air Zoom Spiridon released in ‘97, the silhouette actually takes hints from the Zoom Citizen (released in ‘99) showing off a Pebax protection around its Zoom bags. In addition, its open mesh upper is surely up to the standards of today’s demands, giving it an extra pop due to its bright white laces.
Both colorways of the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 will launch on 13.04.
