Arguably one the best sneakers in the world, the game-changer Air Jordan IV has now released in a “Taupe Haze” colourway.
In fact, aesthetically speaking, it retains all the cues and details of its predecessors. Originally designed by Tinker Hatfield, some say that this iteration is somewhat inspired by the Travis Scott’s Friends & Family pair released a few years ago.
This mid-top wonder debuted over 30 years ago, yet this retro still boasts a visible Air unit at the heel and another encapsulated Air unit in the forefoot, delivering a smooth ride in and out of the hardwood.
Moreover, reaching for optimum performance, mesh panelling is present on the upper, allowing for extra breathability. A further tailored fit is achieved through customizations and patterns that can be added due to its multisport lace-locks and wings with extra lace-holes.
Details such as wear-away cracked leather on the mudguard, a Jumpman tongue tag and upside-down Air Jordan tag are also present.
Overall, the pair is dressed in Taupe Haze, Oil Grey, Off White and subtle yet bold hints of Infrared 23. Put it all together and you get the best pair of Air Jordan IV of 2021, if not of all time. Time will tell.
