    The Nike Air Max 1 was released in 1987 for the first time, and was a revolutionary sneaker. The Air Max 87 was the first shoe to feature the visible Air Unit in the midsole. This Air Unit was invented by Frank Rudy, who passed away in 2009. The AM1 was designed by who else, but Tinker Hatfield. Who is also responsible for a big number of the Air Jordan Series.
